anche se la nostra partenza sarà ad Aprile, sono felice di vedere che già da ora la situazione sembri essere sotto controllo.....

per ora non ho nessuna intenzione di disdire.... comunque mi terrò aggiornata leggendo i nuovi topic del forum.

Grazie a tutti ed in particolare a FrancyB sempre attenta alla "nostra" isola Veligandu.

Nadia direi che gia' al momento l'isola è operativa quindi non dovresti avere alcun tipo di problemi.

Vedrai che quando andrai Veligandu rimarra' nel tuo cuore ...per questo ero cosi' preoccupata, anche per il personale che si trova la'. Per fortuna almeno qui tutto bene

Dear All Readers,

Warm Greetings from Veligandu Island... Maldives

Following the flooding caused by the Tsunami the hit the Maldives Island on the 26th of December 2004, we would like to inform that there is no material damage to Veligandu Island Resort, and the Resort is operating as normal. We would like to reassure you that all the guests and staff on the Island are safe.

The Island produces its own electricity & Water and there has not been any disruption to all the services on the Island. Food and other supplies are also brought to the Island and the Shipping of the Supplies to the Island is functioning as normal.

Guest Transfers by Maldivian Air TAxi has resumed..

There has been NO Disruption to the communications system, the telephones and internet system on the Island has been working throughout without any disruption.
